Children With Hair Loss promotes ‘free hair replacement’ service at 2013 America’s Beauty Show
2013 America’s Beauty Show booth exhibitor and founder of Children With Hair Loss ,Regina Villemure  promoted the  non-profit organization  ‘free’ human hair replacement  and styling services for children with medically-related hair loss during the ABS three day event here in Chicago.
Villemure said she wanted to make a real difference in the lives of children who had lost their hair and had absolutely nothing to wear. ”In 2000 we opened Children With Hair Loss where no family will ever pay,” she said.
She also said that her organization covers all of the cost to get human hair replacements for children. Villemure said that her organization provides hair replacement services for children diagnosed with cancer, children who have loss hair due to alopecia conditions or any other rare disease or disorder.
Villemure said that her organization operates on revenues that the TIGI is assisting them with accumulating.
“We have to raise hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars to cover every child that needs us every year since we’re the only free organization in the world,” she said.
She also said CWHL accepts hair donations from individuals who send them a donation form that is available on their website, childrenwithhairloss.us along with their hair.
ABS attendee, Fawn Julsaint said that she was really intrigued by CWHL. She said CWHL allowed ABS attendees the opportunity to have their hair cut on stage and donate their hair to kids with cancer.
